About Russell Hobbs

Russell Hobbs has been synonymous with quality, style and innovation for the kitchen and home for over fifty years. Founded in Great Britain in 1952 by Bill Russell and Peter Hobbs, the brand led the way by introducing products which offer real consumer benefits and technological advancements to make life in the home easier and more enjoyable.

Today Russell Hobbs boasts an impressive product portfolio and is continuing to develop into new categories. From kettles and toasters to cooking, cleaning and garment care, each and every product is designed with the consumer in mind to offer the ultimate in performance, practicality, ease of use and style.

Throughout the decades, we have been No1 in kettles and toasters, an area where today we remain the leading brand. With this proud track record and heritage, we have since become a leading brand in irons, food preparation and now floorcare, with a growing presence too in other markets, such as heating, cookware and bakeware.

The Russell Hobbs name is recognised by nine out of ten consumers as a leading small kitchen appliance brand in the UK and has won numerous awards and product accreditations by leading institutes and organisations.

Russell Hobbs’ success is down almost entirely to our focus on meeting and exceeding the needs of our consumers and in making our quality of life in the home better, easier and more enjoyable. That is how Mr Russell and Mr Hobbs built the reputation of the company up and is how we always want it to be. A real British brand with British heritage, even today our products are still designed in Great Britain for the British market. We believe it is this what makes us unique and at the heart of our past, today and tomorrow.
